Natural materials used due to their aliveness, sense of depth & quality of an individual. The project takes inspiration of the paths of horse trails that pave the way in nature. The routes are the straight lines in the project, they represent the plan that I wanted for myself, the route that I saw in my mind’s eye that my life would follow.

The routes are the straight lines in the project, they represent the plan that I wanted for myself, the route that I saw in my mind’s eye that my life would follow. The project was designed to be similar to nature – open, lighted, with the horse tracks creating the elongated spaces. In between there are the circles which create disturbances in the space and make it surprising, interesting and designed.

Living in harmony with nature—this is the vision and concept of the design for this residence where you can integrate the elements of balance between the built environment and nature.
The need to feel in touch with nature through their chosen materials. Earthy tones (plaster walls, wooden and concrete finishes) a lot of green (abundance of plants), a feel of open space in touch with the elements (views from everywhere to the sky).Everything is a piece on its own—the textured walls and ceilings, concrete furniture and columns, dramatic floor to ceiling slabs of marble and a curved staircase inspired by some of natures natural forms—from snail shells and ferns and our milky way galaxy.
